PVC Profile Delivery UK: How Our Dispatch and Shipping Actually Works

If you are ordering PVC profiles for a project with a deadline, delivery time matters as much as the product itself. This guide explains exactly how dispatch and delivery works when you order from Plastic Profile Supplies, so you know what to expect before you check out.

Same Day Dispatch, Not Same Day Delivery

Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day from our Bedford base, while orders placed after 1pm, on weekends, or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day.

Dispatch is the point your order leaves our Bedford base with the courier, not the point it arrives with you, so it is worth knowing the difference before you plan around it.

Next Working Day Delivery with Evri

Once dispatched, your order is sent via Evri Next Day, a fully tracked service, at a flat rate of £3.95 regardless of order size. We aim to get your order to you the next working day, though we always ask customers to allow up to 2 working days to account for any courier delays or adverse weather. This is not us covering for a slow service, it is a fair and honest buffer for the small number of things genuinely outside anyone's control. Oversized parcels, such as profiles over 1 metre in length, may take slightly longer at 2 to 5 working days due to the specialist handling required.

No Minimum Order

Unlike many suppliers who only sell in large bulk packs, there is no minimum order quantity here. Whether you need one length of angle trim for a small repair or a full pallet for a commercial job, the delivery cost and process stay the same. Larger orders also qualify for automatic bulk discounts at checkout, so it pays to order everything you need in one go.

Where We Deliver

We currently deliver to England, Wales and Scotland, UK mainland only. We do not ship to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or outside the UK. If you are outside UK mainland, check with us before ordering rather than assuming coverage.

Tracking and Delivery Issues

Once your order is dispatched you will get a confirmation email with tracking details, so you can follow your parcel through Evri's own tracking system every step of the way. If something goes wrong, whether it is a missed delivery or an item arrives damaged, our full Shipping Policy covers exactly what to do and how quickly we will sort it.

What This Means for Your Project

If you are working to a tight deadline, order before 1pm and build in up to 2 working days for delivery to land, even though most orders arrive the next working day. For urgent trade jobs, order early in the week rather than late Friday afternoon, since weekend orders will not move until Monday. There is no minimum order and no reason to delay ordering exactly what you need, when you need it.
